Birgitta Kieckhaben, BCST, LMT, RPT is a state registered Psychotherapist http://www.dora.state.co.us/index.htm  She is trained and certified in Equine Assisted Mental Health with Prescott College/AZ and a Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist with additional training in Somatic Therapy. She is an Internationally certified Neuromuscular Therapist, graduated from CIMT, as well as a Geriatric Nurse/Germany, and holding a German Business degree. She has extensive training and 18+ years experience in neurological/mental/geriatric disorders. Her passion and focus is to facilitate and promote healing, using a body/mind approach and individualized treatment plans, working within a highly skilled team.

In her free time, she enjoys empty nest family life with daughter Mandy, son Jamie and granddaughter Riley. The animals on the little ranch are loved and cared for (horses, dogs, barncats, etc.). In addition, she loves to spend time with extended family and friends. 

Birgitta's focus is finding balance between work, family and animals, gardening, cooking and baking, enjoying Colorado's seasons and traveling to warmer climates. On colder Colorado days she enjoys reading, decorating and time out by the fireplace.        



 

 


Brianne Leatherman, LMT, joined Nizhoni Health Center as our newest team member.
She is a graduate of the Colorado Institute of Massage Therapy’s 850 hour Advanced Neuromuscular Massage Therapy Certification Program, and is excited to work in a team environment at Nizhoni.
She is a licensed massage therapist, and is additionally certified in Neuromuscular Massage Therapy. 
Brianne also trained in Trigger Point Release Therapy, Sports Massage, Joint Movements, Swedish Massage, and Integrative Techniques. 
She would like to focus on therapeutic and rehabilitative massage, as well as Swedish massage.
In her free time she likes to spend time with family and also has an interest in horses and the outdoors.



Jamie Kieckhaben, Administrative and Property Professional

15 years+ of customer service/management experience.

Jamie is a single father raising his beautiful 10 year old girl. Jamie loves to spend time with family, and some of his passions include Taekwondo, parenting, basketball, outdoor activities, and traveling. He is originally from Germany, where he spent the first 11 years of his life.

Besides his professional time at the family business, he also works full-time at a manufacturing company. 

    


Mandy Kieckhaben, LPCC, Horse and Administrative Professional, trained in natural horsemanship and Equine Assisted Mental Health, holding a B.A. in Psychology from CSU as well as a masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Somatic Psychology from Prescott College.

She is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC) and operates her practice "Empowerment Counseling" at Nizhoni Health Center. She is available for individual as well as family Psychotherapy sessions, and specializes in Somatic and Play therapy. She also is working on a PhD in Forensic Psychology.

She is available as a horse professional to support Equine Facilitated Therapy sessions as well as facilitating Psychotherapy sessions. In her free time she enjoys horses, pets, Taekwondo, spending time with family and  friends, basketball, shopping, running and movies.
